Tamir Ginz created his contemporary choreography as a ritual of senses, love and erotica. Ginz uses the musical work of Carl Orff as a musical backdrop that inspires the vibrant original choreography in a modern way. The dancers celebrate youth, desire, and the beauty of physical movement in a vibrant and wild masquerade.
This was a commissioned premiere from Kamea’s artistic director Tamir Ginz for “KYPRIA 2007” festival in Cyprus. Ginz’s “Carmina Burana” became an international success and was performed all over the globe by Kamea’s dancers ever since.
Due to international demand, in 2024 Ginz revisited the choreography, to create a new adventure, an updated extravaganza.
