Celtic Throne

Celtic Throne

The American Dance Company presents a Celtic dance spectacular.

After being forced to suspend their tour in Israel, the beloved company, loved by audiences of all ages, is returning to Israel to pick up where they left off — with acrobatics, dance, breathtaking stunts, and plenty of fire and passion, all on one stage!

In the summer of 2025, Celtic Throne became the first major international act to tour Israel since October 7th. The troupe – comprising children and teenagers – did not come to Israel despite the war in Gaza; they came because of it. At a time when much of the world was criticizing Israel, Celtic Throne sought to offer support and encouragement. This mission formed the foundation of the entire tour.

The tour did not go according to plan; just hours after the group concluded their third performance, Operation “Lion’s Roar” began. Ultimately, following government directives, the troupe was forced to cancel the remaining shows and leave the country. In a roundabout journey – undertaken while Israeli airspace was closed – the group made its way to Egypt, eventually departing on flights from Sharm El-Sheikh.

The dance company blends Irish and modern dance with martial arts, acrobatics, and aerial artistry. The stage features over 30 dancers of all ages, adults and children alike, accompanied by a live orchestra and spectacular, elaborate set design.

Brad MacDonald, the company’s director, stated: “From the moment we cancelled the tour, we knew we had to return. Having experienced just a glimpse of what the people of Israel are going through, we are more determined than ever to finish what we started. The troupe and all its members wish to show their love for the people of Israel, and we will not let anything stand in our way.”

Show duration: Two hours, including an intermission.
