Almost four decades have passed since two friends – Tom Cohen and Maor Zaguri – grew up and played on the streets of Beersheba. Long before they became respected and renowned artists, they were children who dreamed of conquering the world. The joint journey they embarked on then, and to which you are invited today, blurs the line between reality and fiction, reveals fascinating cultural treasures and brings to the stage the beautiful wonder created by their artistic encounter.
The first episode in the “Diamond” series is an exciting and colorful musical play. In it, small anecdotes are interwoven with big stories, accompanied by the soundtrack of that Beer Sheva – with songs that came with the immigrants during the years of the state’s establishment and with classics created here.
This is a story about Tom and Maor, a story about Beer Sheva, and a story about us.
