Royal Cheers - A festive concert with a royal touch to open the new season of the Rishon LeZion Symphony Orchestra, led by the young and promising conductor Ratem Nir

Royal Fanfare – A festive concert with a royal touch to open the new season of the Rishon LeZion Symphony Orchestra, led by the promising young conductor Ratem Nir. The concert opens with fanfare and music for the shofar and orchestra – a surprising new work by the Israeli composer Michael Wolpe, in which the solo instrument – the shofar – is taken from its ritual use in favor of the concert repertoire; followed by Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and Beethoven’s “Emperor” piano concerto, the father of Romanticism.
