For the first time, songs composed by Rechter and not yet published by Dalia Rabikovich will be performed, alongside the well-known and beloved songs of Avraham Halfi and Ali Mohar, with the participation of singers and a choir.
Corigliano – Beethoven
Concerto for percussion and orchestra by John Corigliano, a contemporary American, which emphasizes the role of percussion. Both Beethovenian pieces in the concerto have a strong rhythmic energy and a sense of forward movement. The timpani are instrumental in this energy and also reinforce dramatic and tragic moments of conflict in both pieces.
