Was born in the USA. His repertoire includes Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Lensky in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), the title role in Faust (Gounod), Don José in Carmen (Bizet), Cavaradossi in Tosca, Rodolfo in La boheme, Calaf in Turandot (Puccini), the Italian Tenor in Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss), the title role in Otello (Rossini), the title role in Andrea Chenier (Giordano) and Rodolfo in Luisa Miller, Manrico in Il trovatore and Alfredo in La traviata (Verdi). He performs at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, San Francisco Opera, New York City Opera, Los Angeles Music Center Opera, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and many other opera houses.
