Jacek Przybyłowicz is a Polish choreographer, ballet educator, and former dancer. A graduate of the Warsaw Ballet School and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, he has served as Director of the Poznań Opera Ballet and teaches at the Chopin University. After beginning his career with the Warsaw Grand Theatre Ballet, he spent over a decade performing internationally, including as a soloist with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, touring more than 50 countries and performing the works of renowned choreographers such as Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Jiří Kylián, Daniel Ezralow, and Rami Be’er. Since returning to Poland in 2002, he has created acclaimed ballets and opera productions in Poland and abroad. In 2012 he was awarded the Bronze Gloria Artis Medal for Services to Culture.
