Having graduated in stage design from the Brera Academy in 2007, Federica Parolini made her debut in 2006 , at the Montepulciano Festival; since then, she has worked at leading Italian and international theatres and opera festivals. She has collaborated extensively with figures from various fields, including Francesco Micheli, Alice Rhorwacher, Frederic Wake Walkers, Stefania Panighini, Giorgia Guerra and Teatri Alchemici. Since 2012, she has collaborated with Leo Muscato on opera and theatre productions, and in 2019, her set design for Paer’s Agnese won the Abbiati Prize. She opened La Scala’s 2024/2025 season with La forza del destino. Furthermore, since 2013, she has been developing exhibition, installation and interdisciplinary projects in Italy and abroad.
