Was born in Germany. He has directed at Komische Oper Berlin, Oldenburg, Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie at Brussels, Genève, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Dresden and the Wiener Volksoper. He is the General Director of Hans Otto Theater of Potsdam, where he directed La clemenza di Tito, Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), A Long Journey into Night (O’Neill), the world premiere of David Salz (Schlender & Rosh) and others.
