Was born in China. Her wide operatic repertoire includes the title role in Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Manon Lescaut (Puccini), Alzira, Aida (Verdi) as well as Amelia in Un ballo in maschera, Lina in Stifellio, Odabella in Attila (Verdi) and Liu in Turandot (Puccini). She performs regularly at all international leading opera houses including the Vienna Staatsoper, La Scala, the Arena di Verona, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, and the opera houses of Paris, Parma, Roma, Munich, Santiago de Chili, Naples, Florence, Ravenna, Bordeaux, Palermo and many others.
