Tijl Faveyts, bass, was born in Belgium. His repertoire includes Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), the Sacristan in Tosca (Puccini), the Commendatore in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Oroveso in Norma (Bellini), Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Gremin in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Luther and Crespel in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Simone in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), the title role in Don Pasquale (Donizetti) and many other roles. He appears in the opera houses of St. Gallen, Kaiserslautern, Stuttgart, Luxembourg, Aix-en-Provence, the Flemish Opera, Brussels, Vienna, Amsterdam and many others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
