Gabor Dezsy-Szabo, baritone, was born in Hungary. His many roles include the title role in Man of La Mancha, the Emcee in Cabaret, Riff in West Side Story as well as in plays by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Schiller and others. He has also performed in numerous operettas including Grafin Maritza (Kalman) and Die Lustige Witwe (Lehar). This is his Israeli Opera debut.
