Yotam Cohen was born in Israel. He studied singing at the Tel Aviv Academy of Music and later in Milan, London and Budapest. His operatic repertoire includes over 25 leading roles. He has appeared on opera stages throughout Europe (Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy and more) and in recent years has been one of the soloists of the Israeli opera, where he has appeared in many and varied leading roles. Alongside his operatic activity, he appears in recitals, concerts of liturgical music and also frequently performs Neapolitan, South American and Russian folklore music. Two CDs of his performances have been released (one of art songs for voice and piano and the other of the Missa Criolla and Neapolitan songs).
