Italian
dancer, choreographer, and assistant Alessandra Bareggi has worked in leading
international opera houses since 2010. She frequently collaborates with Romeo
Castellucci as dancer and movement director, recently in Das Rheingold
and Die Walküre at La Monnaie Brussels. Other directors she worked with
include Pier Luigi Pizzi, Robert Carsen, Barrie Kosky, Stefano Poda, Giulia
Giammona, and Robert Lepage. Bareggi began her career at Compañía Nacional de
Danza in Madrid, followed by the Metropolitan Opera. She has since performed at
La Scala, Vienna State Opera, Paris Opera, and others. This is her first work
at the Israeli Opera
