Omer Meir Welber was born in Israel. He is the music director of the Raanana Symphonie Orchestra and the music director of the Valencia Arts Center in Spain. He conducted Aida (Verdi) on tour at La Scala Opera House in Tel Aviv. He conducted Tosca (Puccini) and Aida (Verdi) at La Scala in Milan, Carmen (Bizzi), Tosca (Puccini) and La Traviata (Verdi) at the Berlin State Opera, Salome (R. Strauss) in Japan, Dafne (R. Strauss) in Dresden, Rigoletto and La Traviata (Verdi) at the Vienna Festival, Carmen (Bizzi) and I L’Elixir of Love (Donizetti) in Venice, Aida (Verdi), Tosca (Puccini), Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky) in Valencia and many other opera productions and concerts all over the world.
