Regina Alexandrovskaya, director and choreographer, was born in Russia. She graduated from GITIS, the Russian Academy of Theater Arts in 1998. In Russia she directed productions of Anthony Valkopetra (Barber), The Beggars’ Opera (Gay), Moon Wolves (Semenov) and other productions. Since 1999 she has been working regularly as an assistant director at the Israeli Opera on many productions with directors such as Jean-Claude Obre, David Fontaney, David Olden, Marius Trelinsky and others. In Israel she directed Venus and Adonis (Velasco) at the Abu Ghosh Festival. She recently revived the Israeli opera production of Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky) at the Dallas Opera House.
