Ekaterina Elia Michaeli, born in Tbilisi and raised in Israel, graduated from the Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire in vocal performance. She has performed the roles of Violetta in La traviata and Mimì in La bohème and received awards at international competitions in Georgia and Turkey. She is a member of Meitar Opera Studio where she performed the Mother in Hänsel und Gretel and the leading role in Elektra. This is her mainstage debut at the Israeli Opera.
