Shirlie Simon Barbi, dancer, was born in Israel. She has worked as a dancer with Sally Anne Friedland, Yoram Carmi, Oded Ronen, Yael Orni, Tal Garmiza, Noa Atar, Nima Yacovi and Michal Ben Lior. She created choreography for theatre productions at the Habimah National Theatre, the Cameri, Tmuna, Tzavta and others. She created Do You Love Me, Movement Exhibition, Prologue, the site-specific work Close Up with video artist Guy Dagan and other works. At the Israeli Opera she performed in Faust (Gounod), Macbeth, Rigoletto (Verdi) and other productions.
