Lev Gan, tenor saxophone

Gan Lev, tenor saxophone, was born in Israel. HE studies at the Mannes School of Music in New York and in Paris. He received the AICF scholarships. He performed as a soloist with most Israeli orchestras including the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. He performed the Israeli premiere of many contemporary works for saxophone. He performs as a guest musician with most Israeli orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He performed with Albert Piamenta’s saxophone quartet and was among the founders of the Ensemble Nikel. He is a member of the Ensemble Tempera. In 2000 he established the classical saxophone class at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and dance.
