Aigul Khismatullina, soprano, was born in Russia. Her repertoire includes the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Gilda in Rigoletto (Verdi), the title role in Lakme (Delibes), Melisande in Pelleas et Melisande (Debussy), Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), the title role in the Snow Maiden (Rimsky-Korsakov), the title role in Le Rossignol (Stravinsky), Ninetta in L’amour des Trois Oranges (Prokofiev) and others. She performs at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and in the opera houses of Berlin, Barcelona, St. Petersburg and others. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
