Mia Stengsgaard, set designer, was born in Denmark. She has designed extensively for opera, ballet, theatre, film and television all over the world. Her numerous opera credits include Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Tannhauser, Rienzi (Wagner), Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Maria de Buenos Aires (Piazzolla), Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) and others. Her work was presented at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and in the opera houses of Copenhagen, Oslo, Lyon, Amsterdam and others.
