Ulrik Gad, lighting designer, was born in Denmark. He designs lighting for film, television, architecture, theatre and opera. His opera credits include La boheme, Madama butterfly (Puccini), Don Giovanni (Mozart) and others as well as the plays Ghosts and The Seagull. He has worked at the opera houses of Copenhagen, Malmo, Vienna, Bregenz, Koln and others.
