Zur Noam, conductor

Noam Zur was born in Israel. He was the chief conductor of the Kammerphilharmonie Frankfurt and was the principle conductor in the opera of Essen and the principle residence conductor in the opera of Heidelberg. His opera repertoire includes Die Zauberflote, Don Giovanni, Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), La boheme, Turandot, Tosca, Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Das Rheingold, Tannhauser (Wagner), Prince Igor (Borodin), Carmen, Les pêcheurs des Perles (Bizet), Nabucco (Verdi), Werther (Massenet), Elegie für Junge Liebende (Henze), Florencia en el Amazonas (Catan) and many more. He conducted several Israeli orchestras as well as the Transylvanian State Philharmonic, Cluj, the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Johannesburg Philharmonic, as well as orchestras in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Estonia, Romania, Scandinavia, and Italy.
