Carella Giuliano, conductor

Giuliano Carella, conductor, was born in Italy. He conducts regularly in the opera houses and concert halls of Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Marseille, Strasbourg, Geneva, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Monte Carlo, Leeds, Buenos Aires, Detroit, Tokyo, Liege, Toulon, Verona, Bologna, Palermo, Catania, Genova, Trieste, Pesaro, Martina Franca, Torre del Lago, Dordrecht and many others. He conducts a wide repertoire ranging from Paisiello to Ferrero, including all the most important works in the Italian operatic repertoire. Among his recordings are Norma, La sonnambula (Bellini), Ernani (Verdi), Turandot (Puccini), Elisabetta (Rossini), Diluvio universale (Donizetti), Esule di Granata (Meyerbeer) and others. Giuliano Carella is President of I Solisti Veneti since 1990. In Verona he has conducted several times both during the winter seasons at Teatro Filarmonico including L’Italiana in Algeri (Rossini), La traviata (Verdi), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) and during the summer festival at the Arena where he conducted Tosca, Madama Butterfly, Turandot (Puccini), La traviata, Aida (Verdi) and others.
