Ildar Bederdinov, lighting designer, was born in Russia. He started his career in the Lighting Department
of the Bolshoi Theatre in 1974. Since 1986 he works in the Stanislavsky opera as Head of Lighting Department, Lighting Designer. He has designed many opera productions including La traviata (Verdi), Cosi fan Tutte (Mozart) Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) and many others. This is his first work at the Israeli Opera.
