Shira Patchornik, soprano, was born in Israel. Her repertoire includes Pamina in Die Zauberflote, Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), Morgana in Alcina, Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare in Egitto (Handel), Gretel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Oscar in Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Arianna in Il giustino (Vivaldi), Valencienne in Die lustige Witwe (Lehar), Second Niece in Peter Grimes (Britten), Contessa Bandiera in La scuola de’gelosi (Salieri), Orasia in Orpheus (Telemann), Euridice in L’Orfeo (Monteverdi) and others. She performs at the opera houses of Wiesbaden, Dusseldorf, Vienna, Turin, Martina Franca, Berlin, Leipzig, Bregenz and others. At the Israeli Opera she performed Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Flora in The Turn of the Screw (Britten), the Young Vixen in The Cunning Little Vixen (Janacek) and others.
