conductor and musical director, was born in Israel, graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the department of music theory, composition and conducting. She completed her studies specializing in choral conducting with Aharon Harlap and in voice with opera singer Bibiana Goldenthal. Ben Yohanan joined the choir in 1986 as assistant conductor and voice teacher, and accompanied it during its many concerts in Israel and abroad. In 1990 she was appointed Conductor and Music Director of the choir.
