Bat-Kol Girls Choir – Conducted by Anat Morahg, Young Bat-Kol – Conducted by Dalia Lazar – Shimon

Bat-Kol, the choir of the Israel Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv, comprises about 100 singing children aged 5 to 18 in three choirs. Bat-Kol Girls Choir (ages 12-18) has won gold medals in international competitions in Finland, Austria and Italy, and participated in many international festivals. On April 2011 the Bat-Kol Girls Choir under the baton of Anat Morahg participated in the SLOVAKIA CANTAT 2011 International Choir Competition, in which Bat-Kol won three gold medals as well as the Grand Prix, achieving the highest score among all competing choirs of various categories: women choirs, men and mixed choirs. In addition, Anat Morahg was awarded the competition’s Special Prize for Excellent Conducting. Alongside the representative Bat-Kol Choir there are two younger Bat-Kol choirs ages 6-12, conducted by Dalia Lazar–Shimon.
