Soprano Chen Reiss performed leading parts at Teatro alla Scala, Vienna State Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Semperoper Dresden, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Hamburg State Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia and more. She gave concerts at the Salzburg and Lucerne Festivals. Accompanied by the Berlin Philharmonic and Sir Simon Rattle, Ms. Reiss sang the soundtrack to the film “Parfum”.
Ms. Reiss sang with distinguished conductors such as: Daniel Barenboim, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, James Levine, Zubin Mehta and Peter Schneider. Concert appearances include: Staatskapelle Berlin, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Munich Philharmonic, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, Israel Philharmonic, Pittsburgh Symphony, and New Japan Philharmonic.
Upcoming engagements include: Nannetta in Paris, Blonde in Florence, Adele in Cologne, and Gilda with IPO conducted by Zubin Mehta.
Roles at the Israeli Opera include: Gilda (Rigoletto), Sophie (Rosenkavalier), Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Folleville (Il viaggio a Reims), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia).
