Heike Scheele, Set Designer, born in Germany, has created many Set and Costume Designs for international Theatres and Opera Houses in Germany, Austria, Norway, Italy, Spain.
Among this “Giulio Cesare” in Oslo, “Carmen” in Graz, she designed the sets for “Lulu” in Copenhagen, Oslo and at the Semperoper Dresden, “Salome” for the Easter Festival in Salzburg, “Rusalka” in Brussels, Graz and Dresden. In 2013, Scheele has got the Austrian Music Theatre Award for “Carmen” and in 2016 she was nominated for the International Opera Award for Design. In 2018 Scheele created set and costumes for “Die Fledermaus” at Teatro alla Scala, Milano.
With Johannes Erath she developed 2016 as set designer “Un ballo in maschera“ in Munich, “Hoffmann´s Erzählungen” in Dresden, Helsinki, Valencia and in 2024 “Ermione” at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, and also in 2025 the set for “Faust” at Palau de les Arts in Valencia.
