Born in Germany. Performed, among others, the role of Harlequin in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), the title role in Saul , Argenta in Rinaldo , Apollo in Apollo und Daphne (Handel), the Father in The Seven Deadly Sins (Weill), the King in Theseus (Loli), Captain Fitzroy in The Forecaster (Clerk) and Claudio in Beatrice und Benedict (Berlioz). Appeared at the Opéra-Comique in Paris, Opera North, Potsdam, London, Buenos Aires, the Handel Festival, the Lucerne Festival and elsewhere.
