Dorbella is angry. She is seething with rage. Her beloved has sailed away from her life and she is fed up with everything. And when one of Mozart’s characters in the opera ‘Così fan tutte’ is angry, you know what that means – there isn’t a violin or cello around that won’t be recruited to amplify that anger.
