Harry Oakes was born in Great Britain. He has sung in Werther (Massenet) at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and has sung Miles in The Turn of the Screw (Britten) at the Dusseldorf Opera. He was on a singing scholarship with Trinity Boys Choir.
