Martynas Staskus, conductor, was born in Lithuania. He has a wide symphonic and operatic repertoire including Macbeth, Aida, La traviata, Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Tosca, Turandot, Madama Butterfly (Puccini), La Juive (Halevy), Don Giovanni (Mozart), Faust (Gounod) and many other operas as well as ballet productions. He has conducted many orchestra and ensembles in Lithuania as well as in Germany Italy, Estonia, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Russia and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
