Keren Sivan, soprano

Sivan Keren , soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University. Her operatic repertoire includes Elettra in Idomeneo , the Countess Almaviva and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Monica in the Medium (Menotti), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Cleopatra in Gulio Cesare in Egitto (Handel) and more. She won the first prize in at the Spring Competition 2017. She received the Leon Nacht scholarship. Sivan Keren was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included the Gretel and Mother in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), the first lady in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Mimi in La boheme (Puccini), Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Giunone in La calisto (Cavalli), Enchanted Planet in La liberazione di Ruggiero (Francesca Caccini) and other roles. At the Israeli Opera she performed a Cretan Woman in Idomeneo (Mozart) and Ida in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss).
