Jeffery Darren, bass

Darren Jeffery was born in Great Britain. His repertoire includes Sciarrone in Tosca (Puccini), Masetto in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Mandarin in Turandot (Puccini), Sprecher in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten) all performed at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Also on his repertoire: Father Truelove in The Rake’s Progress (Stravinsky), Donner in Das Rhinegold (Wagner), Hobson in Peter Grimes (Britten), Haly in L’Italiana in Algeri (Rossini), Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten), Truffaldino in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss) and other roles. He performs at the ENO and the opera houses of Montpellier, Madrid, Rome, Amsterdam, Brussels, Lyon, Dusseldorf, Glyndebourne, the Salzburg Festival, Oviedo, Aix en Provence and others.
