Arline Jaftha (Serena), soprano, was born in South Africa. She sang Marianne in Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss), Lucy in Treemonisha (Joplin), the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors (Menotti) and Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti). This is her Israeli Opera debut.
