The Israeli Opera Choir regularly participates in Israeli opera productions and sings a diverse operatic repertoire ranging from operas from the Baroque period (Handel) through opera classics (Mozart, Verdi and Puccini) to modern contemporary operas (Janacek, Shostakovich and Britten) and world premiere Israeli operas (Alpha and Omega, Joseph, Journey to the End of the Millennium).The choir has also performed abroad on Israeli opera tours to Berlin (The Love Potion), the Savonlinna Festival in Finland (The Love Potion), Wiesbaden (La Traviata, Tosca), Rome (Journey to the End of the Millennium), and more. The choir also performs in a diverse vocal operatic repertoire with most orchestras in the country, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Broadcasting Authority, the Haifa New Symphony Orchestra, and the Raanana Symphonist Orchestra. The choir also performed in a cappella concerts across the country.The choir has performed under the baton of conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Dan Ettinger, Daniel Oren, Gary Bertini, Maurizio Bennini, Zubin Mehta, Kurt Mazur, Frédéric Chazalin, Alberto Zedda, Gabriel Perot, David Stern, Asher Fish, Julius Rudel and many more.
