Mathias Hausmann, baritone, was born in Austria. His repertoire includes Lescaut in Manon Lescaut, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Marcello in La boheme (Puccini), Germont in La traviata (Verdi), Amfortas in Parsifal, Wolfram in Tannhauser, Kurwenal in Tristan und Isolde (Wagner), Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, the title role in Don Giovanni (Mozart) and others. He performs in the opera houses of Leipzig, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Munich, Antwerp, Bern and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
