Ido Gidron , a movement designer, was born in Israel. He is an independent artist, dancer, choreographer and instructor in the Gaga language. A graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, he served in the IDF as an outstanding dancer while working for the Kibbutz Dance Company and the Bat Sheva Company. He has worked with choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Sharkawi, Arkady Zaydes, Idan Sharabi, Elad Shechter, Sharon Vazna, Itzik Galili and more. He was a guest dancer at the Norwegian National Ballet and a guest artist at Kennesaw University in the USA, in Gothenburg, Sweden, the We Dance Company, Henny Jurrians, Fabric Potsdam and more. He was awarded a Peace and Creators Grant for 2020 and 2023. He currently creates works and teaches workshops for international programs and companies around the world.
