Jose Bros was born in Spain. His repertoire includes Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Mozart), the title role in Werther, Des Grieux in Manon (Massenet), Romeo in Romeo et Juliette, the title role in Faust (Gounod), Rodolfo in La boheme (Puccini), Adorno in Simon Boccanegra, Renato in Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Fritz in L’amico Fritz (Mascagni), Arturo in I Puritani (Bellini), Percy in Anna Bolena, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti) and many other roles. He perform regularly at La Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Vienna Staatsoper and the opera houses of Madrid, Barcelona, Tokyo, Munich, Rome, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisbon, Zurich, Seville and many others.
