Giorgio Berrugi was born in Italy. His operatic repertoire includes Rodolfo in La boheme (Puccini), Alfredo in La traviata (Verdi), Faust in Le Damnacion de Faust (Berlioz), Don Jose in Carmen (Bizet) and others. He is a member of the Semper Oper in Dresden and has appeared in the opera houses of Treviso, Venice, Pisa, Lucca, Dusseldorf, Florence, Parma, Torre del Lago, Budapest, Leipzig, as well as in Brazil, England, Austria and Switzerland.
