Michael Bennett was born in Great Britain. His repertoire includes Don Basilio is Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Cajus in Falstaff (Verdi), the Mad Woman in Curlew River, Adams in Peter Grimes (Britten), the tenor in The Penal Colony (Glass), Goro in Madama Butterfly (Puccini) and other roles. He has performed at the Berlin Staatsoper and the opera houses of Potsdam, Venice, Nantes, Nancy, Leipzig, Brussels, Garsington and others.
