Aris Argiris, baritone

Aris Argiris, baritone, was born in Greece. His repertoire includes the title role in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet), Belcore in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Marcello in La boheme, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Dandini in La Cenerentola, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Germont in La traviata, Iago in Otello (Verdi), Donner in Das Rheingold (Wagner) and others. He performs regularly in the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Arena di Verona and in the opera houses of Lima, St. Petersburg, Tokyo, Vienna, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Dresden, Brussels, Trieste, San Diego, Savonlinna and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
