Marc Heinz, lighting designer, was born in The Netherlands. He has designed lighting for many theatre companies and music festivals in the Netherlands and Belgium as well as in Paris, Koln, Hanover, Berlin, Hamburg, St. Petersburg, Edinburgh and others. Among the opera productions for which he designed lighting are Aida (Verdi) at the Stadt de France in Paris. He also works for television, cabaret and spectacles and designed lighting for many musicals including Fame, Anatevka, Oliver, Blood Brothers, Grease and many others. This is his first work for the Israeli Opera.
