Pavel Valuzhin is a graduate of the Young Artist Program at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in Saint Petersburg. His European debut was in the role of Alfredo in La traviata in Basel, and among his roles are the Duke in Rigoletto, Lensky in Yevgeni Onegin, Mefistofele in Faust, Rodolfo in La bohème, the title role in Werther and Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. Pavel Valuzhin performs at Staatsoper Hannover, Semperoper Dresden, Staatsoper Stuttgart, the Bolshoi Moscow, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Royal Danish Opera, and more.
