Born in Russia, Ula Shevtsov designed costumes for many productions, including One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and A Pigeon and a Boy, among others, at the Beer Sheva, Habimah, Beit Lessin, Cameri and Haifa theatres. At The Israeli Opera she designed costumes for Le nozze di Figaro, Die Zauberflöte and Requiem (Mozart); Aleko (Rachmaninoff); Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss); Nabucco (Verdi) in the park and at the Sultan’s Pool; Hanoch Levin – The Opera and more.
