Joanna Schmink, costume designer, was born in the USA. Her opera credits include Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Fidelio (Beethoven), La rondine (Puccini), La traviata (Verdi), Porgy and Bess (Gershwin), Three Decembers (Heggie), Maria de Buenos Aires (Piazzolla) and others. She has worked with the Atlanta Opera for more than 25 years and also designed for theatre and ballet companies all over the USA.
