Inbal Pinto, a choreographer, director, and set and costume designer, was born in Israel. In 1992, she founded the Inbal Pinto Dance Company and until 2018, she had staged many dance performances such as Wrapped , Dio-Kan , Oyster , Fuga, and many others that gained recognition and sympathy in Israel and abroad. In 2002, she began collaborating with Avshalom Pollak, and in parallel with joint dance works, they choreographed, directed, and designed The Armid (Glock) in Wiesbaden, The Cunning Little Vixen (Janaczek) in Bergen, and musicals in Japan. Pinto has won many awards, including the prestigious “Bessie” Award in New York and the Landau Lottery Prize for her work in the field of dance. She recently directed and designed a musical based on the book The Chronicles of the Clockwork Bird by Hokuto Murakami in Tokyo.
