Michael Kremenko, set designer, was born in Russia and immigrated to Israel. He began working at the Gesher Theater in 1988 and has been the theater’s house designer since 2002. He has designed countless plays at the Gesher Theater, including Medea, Mumic, The Pillowman, The Cherry Orchard, Munchausen, Yakish and Pupcha, Night Conversations, Schwartz and Other Animals, Tartuffe, A Novel at Work, Harper Reagan, Ten Seconds, Six Figures in Search of an Author, and many other plays, some of which he has won awards for. Outside of the Gesher Theater, he has designed sets for the musical The Magician, television programs, a performance by the Mayoman Company’s Momentum , Rita ‘s Show, and more. This is his first work for the Israeli Opera.
